“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you’ll land among the stars.” (Norman Vincent Peale or Les Brown??)
Leonid Tishkov has his own personal moon. He travels the world taking pictures of his moon in various places and settings. I believe that his work is supposed to tell a visual story or poem, of a man who fell in love with the moon “and stayed with her forever”. I love his creative process and his means of telling a story. How romanticized are some of his photos?
